The reason I have started Little Wonders is my desire for my children to have an educational foundation that is rooted in Christ. I want my children to understand that God is much more than just something we do on Sundays. That our faith is bigger than just our words—its a beautiful life long relationship with an unconditionally loving Father. I want my children to grow in that relationship and know that the bible is all about Jesus.

The Montessori philosophy believes that children learn best through their hands, and I want to carry that philosophy into our bible lessons. I want this to be such an exciting way for the children to learn about Jesus. I want it to be much more than a traditional bible lesson experience.  Lessons are hands on as we explore God’s Word with handmade materials that demonstrate the story.  We will also be singing songs, doing finger plays, learning bible memory verses and doing small skits.  

My hope for our classroom is that the children will naturally on their own terms build and explore their relationship with God while together becoming a loving community centered around Jesus.
